A special fundraising campaign was set up on Khurasan University campus. Students from Khurasan University donated as much financial aid as they could as a contribution to their flood-inflicted countrymen. Fundraising campaigners said, in such fragile situations, a small amount of donation can make a huge difference in the lives of those who have incurred losses due to flooding. Campaigners also expressed that the donations will be distributed by the students themselves to those most in need in the flood-hit country. It is worth mentioning that the students of Khurasan University have already conducted similar campaigns for humanitarian cause and sympathy with the people in Afghanistan
